...bus ride to the mall and the school...

Even though all the signs are in a different language, there are some things that you can still recognize!

In Buenos Aires, just like about any city, there’s the good parts, and the bad.

…one thing I would have liked to have left in the states.

See… it’s not a third world country down here, they have some beautiful homes.

For the most part, all the vehicles are the same here, in fact, they have some really nice cars around here. At the mall, we only saw like one or two ol’ beaters. But there are quite a few cars that just look kinda strange.

This one too, looks like a big tortilla chip on wheels.

The buses were high class, way more comfortable than the airplane!

Here’s all of us entering the mall… our first experience in mingling with the locals.

Going up the escalator, looking for the food court.

Pretty fancy looking mall, three stories. Could have spent all day there, but we only had enough time to get lunch.

Again, definitely not a 3rd world country.

Here’s the food court, about 20 places to choose from, we didn’t have a clue of what each one sold, so a few of us chose some oriental food. Ordering sure was fun!

Well, we did something right, we got food.

Yes, Walmart is taking over the world. There’s one only an hour away from the school too.

There’s not much in between, just lots and lots of dry open plains

The bus was very very comfortable, and the scenery was very very boring, the perfect conditions for a nap!

Hay muchos vacas aqui

There were a few small towns we passed through, not much there.

Just like central and southern California!
